Time Out

We were having a BBQ at our house one evening and a friend of ours came over with a bottle of wine.  She is extremely thoughtful and has a great heart.  When I took a look at the bottle of wine, I thought it was so cute and clever.  I immediately thought of some Facebook friends who are mothers and post this sort of desire on their statuses.

If you can't see, there's a chair in a corner turned toward the wall with a table next to it with a bottle of wine and a glass on it.  I found this to be a very thoughtful gift - thanks!!

I often put myself in timeout.  Not necessarily with a bottle of pinot, but with other treats of some sorts.  These moments are vital to me.  I do not deprive myself of them - neither should you!  Perhaps, I take them too often.  Hm?  This gift speaks volumes to all mothers!  Drink!  No, take a timeout on occasion, you need it.  If you think about it, I'm 36 years old - 36 minutes of a timeout sounds glorious!

I ended up sharing this wonderful treat with Coach out on the porch on a beautiful breezy evening surrounded by citronella candles.  Those darn bugs are out. 

Just because I love this little guy and he is so cute with Daddy's hat on AND 1/5th of the reason I take a timeout on occasion, I'll post a couple of pics.
