Cutting the boys hair used to be a long hour of crying and restraining in the bathroom. I would start with Coach and then he'd hold one boy in his arms while I cut their hair. The boys would start crying and squirming around making it difficult to get that right angle. And then all of the hair would stick onto their face from all the tears and snot - even worse! But at the end, I would have really cute, handsome little boys.
It's getting easier as they are growing older. Now, I can cut their hair without coach's assistance. There is still whining and squirming, but it's all manageable.

Ugh - I did mine last week. I really, really hate it. I don't know why, really. It only takes a few minutes each person (since my husband has very little hair to begin with!). But it is just something I HATE! Although, it beats paying someone else to do it!!!!

We always seem to get it done at the end of the day which always means a later night - I don't like that part, but I do get happy when I see fresh clean cut little boys. It pays off.

ReplyDeleteI always cut A's hair and it's NEVER perfect. It causes me much frustration - poor girl. However, it always looks ok. If I ever cut her hair short short, we'll go to a professional.
